Jackie Hartley

Jackie originally a High School Teacher and was introduced to Wearable Art by ANU teacher Sylvia Convey who taught marbling, silk painting, felt, and appliqué and machine embroidery.

Felt making took over with the influence of style and colour. Jackie as a member has volunteered with CRF & ACTAA and attended many workshops.  This led to winning many awards at Royal Canberra Show and many regional galleries. Her main focus is with Nuno felt (Japanese for fabric) wraps and scarves including design inspiration from her many travels.
