Convergence is a gathering of felt makers from the Southern Hemisphere and other parts of the world. Sharing knowledge about feltmaking is the underlying theme. It has become customary to hold a Convergence every two years, alternately in Australia and New Zealand.

This is not a workshop, just a relaxed, fun evening event where you can explore felting techniques, working on a project of your own choice alongside other feltmakers and sharing ideas. Bring your own wool and felting equipment.

This annual event for Canberra Region Feltmakers used to be held in Jindabyne but now happens at Tuross. Members can book in to attend for individual nights or the whole retreat. Five days of feltmaking in a fun, informal atmosphere. This is not a formal workshop but an opportunity to share ideas, techniques and stories.
