Our annual exhibition is becoming quite widely known and very well attended. Spread over four days, from 29 May to 1 June, our members worked non-stop to welcome visitors to the exhibition, explain the intricacies of particular exhibits and encourage people to acquire a wonderful piece of felt art.
The event was highly successful and a great vote of thanks goes to all who assisted in making the exhibition such an enjoyable public event.
we will post a selection of photos from the 2008 exhibition, the fashion parade, the bazaar and the opening night on this site in the coming days.

Canberra Region Feltmakers is a not-for-profit association designed to promote the interests of its members in modern feltmaking. As part of its activities, CRF provides a means for its members to buy feltmaking supplies at competitive prices.
The “Shop” is open for business after each monthly meeting, usually around 1.30pm.
You will be confronted with a myriad of colourful, silky, enticing goodies to make your felt fabulous, I promise! We add very little markup so you get the best prices around. What more could you want?
We have many different solid dyed wool tops in colours ranging from Mango to Manganese and Eucalyptus to Wattle. We also have blends of silk and merino plus many different colour blends from Rachael Meek and Treetops.
We have the full range of Landscape dyes and will, hopefully, shortly have the full range of Gaywool dyes as well.
We have some dyed mohair curls and wool/mohair mix batts and tops.
We have silk fabric from 90 to 150cm wide, mulberry tops, throwsters waste, silk hankies all dyed or plain. We have silk scarves, patterned silk and occasionally get silk offcuts to play with.
We have woollen batts in different sizes, in natural colours or dyed fabulously to speed your felting.
We have needle felting requirements.
We have card blanks so you can get all creative with leftover bits.
We have wool yarn ready to dye and fancy yarns in small bundles to embellish your creations.
We have bubblewrap by the metre.
We have olive oil soap to keep your hands soft.
If there is something you need that we don’t have let us know! We’ll do our best to get it in the shop.
P.S. The library has larger items you may like to try, for hire, e.g hat blocks, drum carders, washboards and a dress makers dummy.
To enjoy the benefits of the shop you should become a member of the CRF association.
