The Canberra Region Feltmakers demonstrate feltmaking in the
Craft Exhibition at The Royal Canberra Show as well as
entering a large number of items in the Felt section.
Each year Canberra Region Feltmakers holds an exhibition,
fashion parade and bazaar to showcase and sell work made by
members over the previous year. The handmade felt pieces on
exhibition are unique and typically use a range of fibres
including wool, silk and alpaca - as well as woven fabrics.
This colourful event is popular, with a host of regular
visitors as well as many new faces each year.
