Convergence is a gathering of felt makers from the Southern Hemisphere and other parts of the world. Sharing knowledge about feltmaking is the underlying theme. It has become customary to hold a Convergence every two years, alternately in Australia and New Zealand.

Rapt in Felt is the Canberra Region Feltmakers exhibition, fashion parade and bazaar showcasing and selling work made by members. The handmade felt pieces on exhibition are unique and typically use a range of fibres including wool, silk and alpaca - as well as woven fabrics. This colourful event is popular, with a host of regular visitors as well as many new faces each year.
